Paris based Painter Takyoung JUNG's world of art began with the tendency of Hyper-realistic painting in his early days, and through the process of seeking Korean identities, image formation and simplification, and image coding, to the 'Language of Light', which is recently infused in 2020 throughout the changes, he has been expressing the world of painting as a non-figurative painting through the intersecting contrast between objecthood and interpretation by the images of digital pixels.
While he is working on non-figurative paintings, he has been constantly working on conceived paintings. From 2010 to now, he has not skipped a single month. While living and working in Paris for more than 15 years, this book was published monthly as a work of several aspects of Paris, and this magazine was kept on board under an agreement with Lufthansa, a German airline, and became a favorite reading for many travelers around the world.
화가 정택영의 작품 세계는 초기 극사실회화의 경향으로 시작해서 한국성의 모색기, 이미지의 형상화와 단순화, 이미지의 코드화 등의 과정을 거쳐 2020년 최근에 천착하고 있는 '빛의 언어'에 이르기 까지 많은 변화를 거치면서 물성(objecthood)과 픽셀 pixel의 교차 대비를 통해 비구상회화로서의 회화 세계를 표현해오고 있다.
그가 비구상회화 작업을 하는 사이 사이에 끊임없이 구상 회화작업을 병행해오면서 지난 2010년부터 지금까지 단 한 달도 거르지 않고 고품격 종합예술지 월간 '아츠앤컬쳐'에 <파리스케치>란 칼럼과 함께 그가 지난 15년 여 파리에서 살고 작업해 오면서 파리의 여러 단상을 작품으로 이 책에 매월 출간되었고 이 책은 독일 항공 루프트한자와의 협약에 의해 기내에 비치되어 세계 여러 여행객들의 애독서가 되었다.
